Youth and STIs: Root Causes will explore: 1) What young people need to be sexually healthy; 2) The cultural and political factors that are currently exacerbating sexual health disparities among young people; and 3) A new paradigm in youth sexual health--one in which adult allies partner with young people most impacted by sexual health disparities to create new and improved institutions and systems that affirm all young people, recognize their rights to bodily autonomy, and support them in their decision-making.
