This 1-hour workshop will focus on getting your manuscript done—from start to finish. We’ll begin with a brief overview of the content of a manuscript. We’ll then focus on how to write well—concisely, clearly, effectively. Then we’ll tackle one of the biggest challenges everyone faces when trying to write: getting the manuscript written. How do we make time for writing? Why should it be a priority? Finally, we’ll finish with a brief discussion of how to respond to reviewers’ comments. What does an editor want to see? What is unhelpful? What will turn that revise and resubmit into a rejection? When you’re finished with this hour, we hope that you’ll be in a much better position to publish all of your important work.
